Ingredients
  • 4 oz Spinach (about 4 cups)
  • 2 tbsps Butter
  • ¾ cup Onion (diced)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger (crushed)
  • 1 tbsp Garlic (crushed)
  • 1½ tsp Ground coriander/cumin mix
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric
  • ½ tsp Chili powder (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • ½ cup Tomatoes (diced)
  • ½ lb Paneer (cubed)
  • ½ tsp Garam masala
  • ½ tsp Kasuri methi
  • 2 tbsps Whipping cream
Instructions
  1. Wash, blanch, and purée the spinach.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter on medium heat.
  3. Add onions, ginger and garlic, sauté until onions are browned.
  4. Add ground coriander/cumin mix, turmeric, chili powder and salt.
  5. Mix and add tomatoes and ½ cup of water.
  6. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally.
  7. Should become like gravy (about 15 minutes).
  8. Add the paneer, garam masala, kasuri methi, cream and puréed spinach.
  9. Stir, cover and simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
